Henry Cao

Henry Cao currently serves as Senior Transactions Counsel at BeiGene since September 2023. Prior to this role, Henry worked as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis from January 2021 to July 2023, advising growth stage companies in the life sciences sector on various cross-border transactions and demonstrating expertise in deal management and negotiation. Henry also held an Associate position at Sidley Austin LLP from August 2018 to January 2021, providing legal counsel to PE/VC firms and life sciences companies on a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Earlier experience includes working as a Foreign Legal Consultant at Latham & Watkins, focusing on cross-border M&A, and as an Associate at 君合律师事务所. Henry holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from China University of Political Science and Law.
