Kaifeng Lu

Kaifeng Lu is a seasoned statistical expert with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Director at BeiGene since August 2021, Kaifeng leads statistical modeling and simulation efforts to promote innovative approaches in drug development. Prior to this role, Kaifeng held the position of Executive Director at AbbVie, focusing on the CNS area and managing a team of eight. Experience includes directing biostatistics for the cariprazine program at Allergan, where Kaifeng successfully led the NDA submission and secured FDA approval. Additional roles include Associate Director at Forest Laboratories, Senior Biometrician at Merck, and Senior Statistician at Eli Lilly and Company. Kaifeng holds a PhD in Statistics from North Carolina State University.
