Kyu-Sung Lee

Kyu-Sung Lee joined BeiGene in 2022 and serves as Global Head of Technical Operations and Manufacturing. Mr. Lee came to BeiGene from Samsung Biologics, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President, Technical Support Center; and, previously, as Executive Vice President, Manufacturing Division.

Mr. Lee brings a wealth of international manufacturing experience to BeiGene. He previously held manufacturing roles at Bristol Myers Squibb –in External Manufacturing and Global Biotechnology and Technical Operations –Merck, and Amoco Bio-Products.

Mr. Lee received his B.S. and M.S. in chemical engineering from Seoul National University and his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Purdue University.
