Christel van Troys

Christel Van Troys is an experienced collection designer currently working at BekaertDeslee since September 2018. Prior to this, Christel held a position as a textile designer at Movelta Tavelmo for a brief period in 2018, focusing on high-end velvet fabrics. From May 2004 to March 2018, Christel served as a product design manager at Beaulieu Fabrics and worked as a textile designer at Ragolle Fabrics from April 2003 to April 2004. Earlier in the career, Christel was the head of the design department at both ITM Fabrics (1998-2002) and Annabel Fabrics (1989-1998). Christel's educational background includes a degree in textile design from PTI Kortrijk (1986-1989) and further studies at the Royal Academy of Art in Gent.
