Anesia Baugh has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Anesia started their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Moose Pharmacy in 2009, where they gained knowledge of pharmacology and provided customer service to patients. Anesia then moved on to work as a Pharmacy Technician at UNC Health Care from 2013 to 2015, where they further developed their skills in a fast-paced hospital setting.
In 2015, Anesia took on a role as a Server at Chili's, where they honed their communication and multitasking skills while providing customer service. Later that year, they transitioned to a position as an Energy Sales Representative at Red Ventures, where they received extensive training in selling energy supply in deregulated markets and demonstrated strong time management and dedication.
From 2016 to 2018, Anesia worked at Kuehne + Nagel, an international logistics company. Here, they fulfilled various roles including Assistant to SDS Management and Admin/Accounting, strengthening their communication, critical-thinking, and time-management skills. Anesia also took part in projects and project management, as well as quoting and sales of intermodal service.
In 2018, Anesia joined Mental Health America of Central Carolinas as a Development and Outcomes Assistant. In this role, they created a social media strategy to increase the organization's exposure, learned Salesforce and eTapestry skills to track and report data, and assisted in planning and executing events centered around mental health awareness and fundraising. Anesia also became a QPR Trainer to teach suicide prevention and developed curriculum to train volunteers.
In 2015, Anesia started their own videography business, Anesia B. Videography. As the owner and videographer, they communicated and met with clients, filmed various events including weddings and travel, and edited footage into cinematic films. Anesia also handled marketing, networking, and administrative tasks including accounting and finances.
Most recently, Anesia worked at BELAY as a Virtual Assistant / Program Manager. Anesia'sresponsibilities included ensuring the success of clients by providing various services such as scheduling, inbox/calendar management, travel planning, bookkeeping, website maintenance, and tech assistance.
Anesia's current work experience includes being a Student Life Coordinator at EF Gap Year, a role they began in 2023.
Anesia Baugh obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Furthermore, they have acquired additional certifications such as the QPR Suicide Prevention Trainer Certification from the QPR Institute in November 2018, the Pharmacy Technician Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board in October 2015, the Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration in June 2022, the Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Grow with Google on Coursera in November 2022, and the Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate from Google UX Design Professional in December 2022.
