Ken O'Neill

Ken O'Neill is a prominent figure in the field of mental health and entrepreneurship, serving as Chairman of East Belfast Community Counselling since 2011, where the organization provides essential counselling services. O'Neill also holds the position of Chairman at the School for Social Enterprises in Ireland, and contributes as Chairperson at the East Belfast Community Counselling Centre. Additionally, O'Neill serves as a Board Trustee for the Belfast Metropolitan College Trust, a Director and Senate Member of The Genesis Initiative, and has held roles such as Board Director for the Belfast International Arts Festival and committee member of the International Small Business Congress. O'Neill's extensive academic background includes serving as Professor of Entrepreneurship and SME Development at Ulster University. Recognized for exemplary voluntary service, O'Neill was awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2018.
