Christian Schäfer

Christian Schäfer has over 10 years of practical experience in digital strategy, product, and technology consultancy. Christian has worked with various brands and digital products, focusing on translating ideas into successful implementations. Currently, they hold the position of Head of IT Germany at Believe. Christian previously worked as a Business Designer at OTTO GmbH & Co KG, Head of Digital Business at Axel Springer Mediahouse Berlin GmbH, and Freelance Consultant at Impulse Medien GmbH, among others. Throughout their career, Christian has demonstrated expertise in advising on technology-related projects, supporting mobile and tablet projects, and conducting research and development of new technologies. Christian has also led teams, managed projects, and facilitated workshops and trainings. Christian started their career as a Web Developer Consultant at BOS Bremen Online Systeme and has worked in various senior-level developer roles at companies such as deepblue networks AG and Lycos Europe GmbH.

Christian Schäfer attended Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design from 1997 to 2001, studying Industrial Design. Christian then went on to HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences, where they studied media informatics from 2001 to 2007.
