Raz Bar-Ziv

Raz Bar-Ziv, Ph.D. is currently the Head of Cells & Media Development and Scientific Team Leader at Believer Meats. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley from January 2018 to August 2022, supported by EMBO LTR fellowship & LLHF postdoc fellowship. Their research focused on studying the ability of the nervous system to coordinate responses across different tissues, in the context of aging and neurodegeneration. They hold a Ph.D. in Systems Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science, a Master's Degree in Life Sciences, and a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences with an emphasis in Biotechnology from Tel Aviv University.
