James Jeffrey has a wealth of experience in softgoods design, having worked in Vietnam and London since 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they were a Designer at Globe Pty Ltd, Mossimo division, where they developed and detailed a range of 14 footwear items for sale within mono-branded Mossimo and department/chain stores. James then worked as Senior Designer at Crumpler in Vietnam from 2006 to 2009, where their role grew from being a mid-weight designer to project and design team manager. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Designer/Owner at JamesJeffrey.ID LTD, a London-based company focused on developing stich and sew product for all markets. James then worked as Senior Designer at Knomo from 2010 to 2012, where their design responsibilities included design for high end leather bags, canvas bags, iPhone & iPad cases, packaging, cost analysis, production streamlining/approval, POS and tech/travel organisers. James then worked as Designer at COORDINATE GEAR LIMITED from 2012 to 2013, where they were responsible for design and sourcing for a camera bag range focused on modular integration. James then worked as Design Consultant at Rapha Racing Limited in 2013. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as Designer at Phorce, where they were directly involved in the development and launch of a successful Kickstarter campaign. Since 2015, they have been Product Director at Bellroy, where they have used their softgoods design experience abroad to aid Bellroy's rapid growth into new categories and greater product complexity.
James Jeffrey attended Swinburne University of Technology from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained their Industrial Design degree with first class honours in the field of Design.
