Calista Thompson, MBA, SPHR

Calista Thompson, MBA, SPHR has over 15 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Calista began their career in 2004 as a Legal Assistant at Cesari and McKenna, LLP. In 2006, they moved to Ford Personnel, Inc. as a Recruiting Assistant. In 2008, they were promoted to Recruiting Manager, Contract Division at Hunter and Sage. In 2010, they joined Calpine Corporation as a Sr. HR Representative. In 2012, they moved to GulfMark Offshore as a Corporate Human Resources Manager and HR Business Partner. In 2018, GulfMark Offshore was acquired by Tidewater Marine, where they served as Human Resources Director until 2022. Calista is currently Vice President, Human Resources at BellXcel.

Calista Thompson, MBA, SPHR has a diverse educational background. Calista earned a B.A. in English and philosophy from Wheaton College Massachusetts in 2004. In 2008, they earned an MBA in Human Resources Management from Houston Christian University - Archie W. Dunham College of Business. Calista also holds a Certificate from the University of Denver's Denver Publishing Institute. Calista Thompson also has a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in July 2016. Her educational journey began at Turners Falls High School.
