Deborah Brissenden

Assistant Head Of School at BELMONT DAY SCHOOL INC

Deborah Brissenden began their work experience at BelmontDay School in 1994 as a Teacher. Deborah then progressed to becoming the Division Head of the Primary Unit from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they served as the Director of Admissions from 2000 to 2012, during which they played a key role in attracting and introducing families to the school. Additionally, they held the role of Assistant Head of School from 2006 onwards, where they worked closely with the Head in setting educational priorities, supporting parents and faculty, and providing guidance in matters of supervision and teaching methods. In 2013 to 2015, Deborah served as the Director of High School Placement, guiding eighth-grade students and their parents through the secondary school placement process and administering the SSAT testing program.

Deborah Brissenden earned a Master of Science in Leadership in Organizational Communication, General from Northeastern University between the years 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Canberra.
