Renan Cunha dos Santos

Renan Cunha dos Santos has been working in the software development field since 2012. In that year, they started as a Full-Stack Developer at Useall Software Ltda, where they implemented back-end services in C# and developed web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In 2014, they became an Undergraduate Researcher at the Applied Research Laboratory in Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, where they worked on projects related to the application of machine-learning techniques in high resolutions images. In 2018, they moved to Centro de Inovação SESI em Tecnologias para Saúde - CIS, where they worked as a Full-Stack Developer on projects such as defining machine learning pipelines. In 2019, they joined Impulso as a Software Engineer, where they developed REST APIs using C#. In 2020, they became a Python Developer at Zyte (formerly Scrapinghub), where they developed and maintained large-scale web crawlers using Python, Scrapy, and Puppeteer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Belvo.

Renan Cunha dos Santos obtained a Técnico em Informática from SATC - Associação Beneficente da Indústria Carbonífera de Santa Catarina from 2009 to 2011. Renan then went on to pursue a Bacharelado em Engenharia from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they obtained a Nanodegree from Udacity Brasil in the field of Machine Learning Engineer. In addition, they obtained a Desenvolvimento de Aplicações em Realidade Virtual e Aumentada certification from SENAI/SC - Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial in December 2018 and a Machine Learning A-Z™: Hands-On Python & R In Data Science certification from Udemy in November 2017.
