Girindra Barua has over two decades of culinary experience, currently serving as Chef de Partie at Benares since November 2011. Previously held the position of Sous Chef at Di Maggio's from October 2006 to November 2011 and worked as Chef de Partie at The Orchid in Mumbai between November 2001 and September 2006. Girindra Barua holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management with a focus on Food Preparation and Professional Cooking from IHM Kolkata, completed in 2001, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from St. Anthony's High School in Shillong, earned in 1990.
