Sean McCormack

Sean McCormack has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Sean started their career as a Library Clerk at Young Research Library UCLA in 2012 and worked there until 2014. In 2012, they also joined the Feldman Systems Neurobiology Laboratory as a Neurobiology Researcher and worked there until 2015. In 2014, they also became a Research Fellow at The Healthcare Improvement and Innovation in Quality (THINQ) Collaborative, where they worked until 2015.

In 2016, Sean McCormack joined Circuit Therapeutics as a Research Associate II and was later promoted to Research Associate III in 2018. Sean worked there until 2018.

Moving on, Sean McCormack joined Benchling in 2018 and held various roles within the company. Sean started as a Customer Success Associate, then became an Implementation Manager in 2019. In 2020, they were promoted to Team Lead, Professional Services, and in 2022, they became the Leader, Emerging Professional Services and Industry Solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Global Head of Optimization Services at Benchling since 2023.

Sean McCormack attended Georgetown University from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Master's of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Biomedical Research at UCLA from 2011 to 2015. Sean McCormack's education began at Saint Joseph's High School from 2007 to 2011, where they graduated as the Valedictorian.
