Xiaomeng (Milton) Yu has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Xiaomeng (Milton) is currently the Head of Automation and Analytics Strategy at Benchling. Prior to that, they worked as the Product and Market Lead, Ecosystem at Benchling. Before joining Benchling, Xiaomeng worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where they held the positions of Product Lead of AWS Wavelength Europe and Global Product Lead, Enterprise Migration. Xiaomeng (Milton) also has experience at Microsoft as the Director - WW OEM Investment and Sr Manager - WW OEM Investment. Xiaomeng co-founded and served as the CEO of BenchWise. Additionally, they worked at The Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant. Xiaomeng (Milton)'sacademic background includes a Damon Runyon Postdoc Fellowship at Stanford University, where they conducted research on cancer signaling in neurodegeneration. Xiaomeng also completed a program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Stanford Graduate School of Business and earned a Ph.D. in an undisclosed field from Baylor College of Medicine.

Prior to that, they completed their Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine between 2001 and 2008.
