Sam Lebewitz

Sam Lebewitz has been working in the accounting industry since 2013. Sam began their career at the University of Wisconsin Memorial Union Accounting Office as a Revenue Assistant. In 2015, they became an Audit Intern at KPMG US, where they participated in KPMG's Global Internship Program and spent one month auditing a client in Johannesburg, South Africa. That same year, they also took on the role of Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin School of Business. In 2016, Sam joined KPMG as a Senior Audit Associate and Audit Associate, where they were responsible for performing substantive audit procedures over accounts and controls of clients in the asset management line of business. In 2018, they moved to Starwood Retail Partners as a Financial Analyst. Most recently, in 2020, Sam joined BenchPrep as a Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant.

Sam Lebewitz completed their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015. Sam then pursued a Masters of Accountancy from the same institution, which they completed in 2016. In 2014, they also attended Università Bocconi for a course in Accounting. In 2017, they obtained a CPA certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
