Sue Larocca

Sue Larocca started their work experience in 1989 as the Vice President of Payroll and Tax Operations at RPS Payroll Services. Sue was responsible for managing payroll service bureau operations, specializing in restaurant payroll and played a key role in developing a payroll, tax, and treasury operating system. Sue grew the business from 300 clients to 4 before leaving in 1999.

In 1999, Sue joined Advantage Payroll Services as the Manager of Acquisition Services. Sue participated in due diligence for potential payroll company acquisitions and coordinated with IT and consolidation teams for project conversion planning. Sue also managed a travel team that performed data cleansing and provided onsite support during conversion periods. In 2002, Advantage Payroll Services merged with Paychex.

At Paychex, Sue held the position of Director of Conversion Services from 2002 to 2006. Sue led multi-functional project teams in converting payroll systems and clients from an acquired company onto the primary operating system. Sue collaborated with IT to develop data conversion processes and implemented large-scale parallel testing events.

In 2006, Sue returned to BenefitMall as the Vice President of Operations in the Payroll Service Division. Sue was responsible for overseeing national multi-site payroll service bureau operations, managing client implementation, tax filings, and deposits. Sue also established a Technology and BenAdmin team to support a new marketplace offering to brokers and clients, providing leadership and support for strategic initiatives until April 2022.

In April 2022, Sue Larocca became Vice President of Operations in the General Agency Insurance Division at BenefitMall. Sue reported directly to the President and managed a remote team to support a company growth initiative. Sue'sresponsibilities included re-engineering and enhancing process workflows, resolving integration flaws, and supporting new hire training programs and internal training videos. Sue also provided tools to manage successes and opportunities.

Sue Larocca holds a BA/AA degree from Northwood University, where they studied Marketing & Management and Fashion Merchandising and Social Sciences. Sue also obtained a certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) from the American Payroll Association, which has since expired.
