Urszula Pruchniewska

Senior UX Researcher at Benefits Data Trust

Urszula Pruchniewska is the Senior User Experience (UX) Researcher at Benefits Data Trust and leads the organization’s UX research activities. Urszula plans and executes both generative and evaluative UX research and provides actionable recommendations to inform the design and development of BDT’s products.

Prior to joining BDT, Urszula was Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at Kutztown University, where she taught courses on UX research and design, social media strategy, and research methods. In 2022, Urszula published a textbook, UX Research Methods for Media and Communication Studies.

Urszula holds a Ph.D. in Media and Communication from Temple University, where she studied the user experience of digital technologies and social media. She also has a Master of Journalism from Temple University, a B.Sc. in Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand), and a B.A. in Audiovisual Communication from The University of Johannesburg (South Africa).
