Engagement Manager for Cultivation at Benefits Data Trust

Wanja is the Engagement Manager for Cultivation at Benefits Data Trust. In this role, she supports efforts to identify strategic opportunities to deepen BDT’s presence in existing states and cultivate relationships with national, state, and local organizations that lead to productive partnerships in new geographies.

Before coming to BDT, Wanja worked for a non-profit organization that addressed the needs of systemically underserved communities in Wilmington, Del. Additionally, she worked for the Delaware legislature as a legislative fellow.

Wanja has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Delaware State University, and she received a Master of Public Administration, specializing in non-profit management, from the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Policy & Administration at the University of Delaware.
