Thomas Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Thomas began their career at Knoll AG, where they worked as an International Management Trainee before progressing to the roles of Product Manager and Area Manager Middle East. In 1998, they joined BENEO as a Marketing Manager, later transitioning to become Director NAFTA/Asia. At BENEO, they held various positions, including Global Account Manager and Managing Director of BENEO Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd. In 2014, they took on the role of Marketing Director for the BENEO Group.
Thomas Schmidt completed their education at the University of Applied Sciences Worms from 1988 to 1992, earning a degree in European Business Management called Diplom-Betriebswirt FH. Later, in 2012, they attended Kellogg Executive Education for a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Leadership and Management as a Kellogg Executive Scholar. In terms of additional certifications, Thomas obtained a Strategic Marketing Communications certificate from Kellogg Executive Education in November 2019, a Business Marketing Strategy certificate from the same institution in April 2016, and a Controller's Certificate from CA controller akademie in March 1998.
