Wim Dries

Wim Dries has extensive experience in sales and account management within the food industry, currently serving as Area Sales Manager for BENEO (Südzucker Group) since April 2007, focusing on B2B sales across four product lines. Previously, Wim held the role of Sales Manager for North America and Japan, specializing in rice starches and related products, as well as managing global accounts for major European multinationals. Prior to BENEO, experience includes key account management positions at Raffinerie Tirlemontoise - Tiense Suikerraffinaderij overseeing Scandinavia and the Benelux region, and account management at Caldic. Early career includes roles in quality management at Meroso Foods NV and various interim functions at Johnson & Johnson. Wim holds a Master of Science in Chemistry with a major in Food Science & Technology from KU Leuven.
