Gary Buller, CFP®, has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Gary started their career as the Director of Member Services at the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) from 1978 to 1982. Gary then worked as a Computer Application Specialist at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1982 to 1984. Following this, they joined the Illinois Power Company in 1984, where they held various roles such as Agricultural Energy Specialist, Commercial Sales Manager, and Assistant Manager until 1989. Gary then transitioned to Hilliard Lyons as a Financial Consultant from 1989 to 1992. Gary Buller then joined A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. in 1992, where they served as a Vice President – Investments and Assistant Branch Manager until 2007. Gary then moved to Wells Fargo Advisors and continued their role as a Vice President – Investments and Assistant Branch Manager from 2008 to 2018. Currently, they are working at Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. as a Vice President – Investments, where they run Buller Wealth Management, a father and son team dedicated to providing personalized service and customized wealth planning to individuals and families.
Gary Buller, CFP®, holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from South Dakota State University, obtained between 1975 and 1977. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Agricultural Engineering at the same institution, earning a Bachelor of Science degree between 1971 and 1975. In addition to their academic achievements, Buller has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification from the CFP Board in June 2007.
