Klaus Perkins

Klaus Perkins, PE, SE, CDT, currently serves as the Raleigh Department Manager and Senior Project Manager at Bennett & Pless, Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this role, Klaus held various leadership positions at Clark Nexsen from August 2007 to December 2022, including Department Head - Structural and Associate Principal. Previous experience includes Project Manager and Project Structural Engineer roles at Marshall Miller & Associates and staff engineering at McClancy Engineering. Early career roles involved truss design at Truswood, Inc., assistant superintendent duties at Choate Construction Company, and project engineering at Blythe Construction. Klaus earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte between 1988 and 1993.
