Tanya Hairston-Whitner

Tanya is an accomplished attorney and the current assistant general counsel for The Home Depot, Inc., where she is responsible for overseeing all legal matters related to installation services, store operations and tool rental. Prior to serving in this role, Tanya was the vice president and general counsel for Concessions International, LLC, an airport concessions management company focusing on the operations of restaurants in airports throughout the U.S. In this capacity, Tanya was responsible for all legal matters, setting strategy, profit and operating plans for the organization as well as overseeing the construction and maintenance of the organization's units. In addition to her practice, Tanya served as the chair of the board of directors for the Center for Black Women's Wellness for 11 years, vice chair of the board of directors for Park Pride and is active in her community. Tanya holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Bentley and a Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School. She has served on the board of trustees since 1998.
