Javier Barbeta

Javier Barbeta is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the development and commercialization of halogen-free compounds, currently serving as Project Leader at BENVIC since June 2019. Prior to this role, Javier held several significant positions at Prysmian Group, including Head of Design and Cost Office for Spain and Portugal from July 2018 to May 2019, and led R&D teams within Grupo General Cable Sistemas SA from 1993 to 2018, focusing on product and materials development. Javier's career began in 1984 as a consultant and later as an R&D engineer. Javier possesses a strong educational background, with advanced degrees in business management and chemical engineering from institutions including Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña.
