Ross Mair

Ross Mair is the Consulting Director at Beond Group. Ross has over 16 years of experience in the energy industry.

Ross started their career as an oil trader at BB Energy in 2006. Ross then moved to BuyEnergyOnline in 2008, where they became the Energy Broker Director. In this role, Ross was responsible for managing account managers, brokers and new sales, as well as renewing a customer base of 250 businesses. Ross developed market knowledge and insight for the team, reading markets and making informed market decisions to advise clients on the best course of action for their businesses. The team had a retention rate of 90%.

In September 2015, Ross joined Beond Group as a Consulting Director. Beond is an energy consultancy that helps clients deal with energy market complexity arising from global climate change. The company provides a full range of energy consulting services to major energy buyers, including tendering, risk management, energy efficiency and technology consulting.

Ross Mair has a Business Sustainability Management certification from the University of Cambridge, an MBA in Finance and Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from American Aviation Academy, a PGDip in International Banking and Financial Studies from Heriot-Watt University, and a BA in English Literature and Religious Studies from The University of Edinburgh.
