Alex Barros has extensive experience in the hospitality and travel tech industries. In 2008, they began their career as a Business Development Manager for Central and Northern Europe at Hospitality Marketing Concepts. Alex then worked as the Director of Business Development, EMEA at VOILA Hotel Rewards from 2010 to 2012, and Head of Sales, Southern Europe and LATAM at SiteMinder from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they were appointed as the first employee in EMEA to launch the Revenue Strategy Platform and build the European organization from scratch at Duetto, where they served as the Vice President of Sales, EMEA. From 2016 to 2021, Alex held multiple roles, including Founder and Principal Consultant at TECHnests, Advisor at Event Intelligence, CEO at Factor Humanus Scientia, and Managing Director at EasyWay. Most recently, they have been appointed Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer at BEONx and Growth, Innovation & Fundraising at Hotelverse, both starting in 2022.
