Damien Kieran

Damien Kieran has a solid work experience in the legal field. Damien is currently working at BeReal as a General Counsel since February 2023. Prior to this, they have held various roles at Twitter, starting as a Global Litigation Counsel from January 2016 to January 2018. Damien then transitioned to the position of Global Data Protection Officer and Associate Legal Director from February 2018 to February 2019. From February 2019 to November 2020, they served as the Global Data Protection Officer, Legal Director, and Associate General Counsel. Finally, Damien became the Chief Privacy Officer, Vice President, and Deputy General Counsel at Twitter in November 2020, a role they held until November 2022.

Before joining Twitter, Damien worked as an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from June 2013 to January 2016. Prior to that, they held a similar role as an Associate at Weil Gotshal and Manges from May 2012 to June 2013.

Damien's early career started at Google, where they gained experience in the Legal Department from an unspecified time in 2008 to 2010.
