Laura Garcia Fajardo is a Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab since April 2016, with previous experience as a Senior Fellow in the Technology Department at CERN from March 2013 to February 2016, where involvement included the design of superconducting wiggler magnets for the Compact Linear Collider. Laura also served as a Lecturer and Researcher at the Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences (InSTEC) from September 2007 to January 2013, teaching courses in Numerical Methods, Computer Modelling, and Neutron Physics, while conducting research on advanced computational methods for neutron diffusion and nuclear systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Energy and Nuclear Facilities from InSTEC, a PhD in Engineering and Industrial Production from Universitat Politècnica de València, and an Engineer degree in Nuclear and Energy Technologies from InSTEC.
