Eric Langlois

Eric Langlois is a Senior Research Scientist at Sanctuary AI since October 2022, with prior roles as a Research Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer. Langlois completed a PhD at the University of Toronto from September 2017 to December 2022 and was involved in deep learning research at Google as a Brain Resident from June 2016 to August 2017. Previous experience includes machine learning engineering at Thalmic Labs, working on gesture classification algorithms for the Myo armband and developing models for wearable devices. Early career roles include a software development internship at Facebook, computational research at Natural Resources Canada, and various positions during academic studies at the University of Waterloo, where Langlois earned a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science with a minor in Physics.
