Troy Lionberger

GM, Partnerships & Services Business at Berkeley Lights

Dr. Troy Lionberger joined Berkeley Lights in May 2015 and currently serves as general manager, Partnerships & Services Business. Dr. Lionberger is responsible for the Company’s Partnerships & Services strategy, P&L, and oversees the development and commercialization of disruptive applications through both partnership models and service offerings. Prior to this role, he led business development in the Berkeley Lights commercial organization focused on leveraging the core technology of the Berkeley Lights platform to solve challenging problems in fields ranging from cell and gene therapy to agriculture and synthetic biology. In addition, he is one of the earliest members of the Berkeley Lights R&D team and a named inventor on a number of commercial applications on the Beacon platform that are currently impacting the discovery and development of antibody therapeutics.

Dr. Lionberger earned a B.S. in Bioengineering and a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan, with postdoctoral training in Biophysics at the University of California, Berkeley.
