Henry Halkyard

Resident Teaching Artist at Berkeley Playhouse

Henry Halkyard is an experienced professional in arts education and program management, currently serving as the Exhibits & Public Programs Manager at the Children's Creativity Museum since March 2022. Concurrently, Henry holds positions as a Resident Teaching Artist and Lead Teaching Artist at Berkeley Playhouse and Town Hall Theatre, respectively, both since October 2018. Previous roles include working as a Trust & Safety Platform Compliance Specialist and Data Entry Specialist at Instacart from January 2020 to January 2022, and a variety of educational positions, including Teaching Artist at Sarah Lawrence College, where Henry taught theatre arts and writing to children. Henry's earlier experiences include hosting at West Of Pecos and mentoring at StageWrite. Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Sarah Lawrence College, earned in 2018.
