Gardner W. Walkup, Jr. is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in corporate management, strategic consulting, and investment. Currently serving as Managing Director in Energy & Natural Resources at Berkeley Research Group since April 2014, Gardner provides expert advice to various stakeholders in the global energy marketplace. Previously, as President and founder of Bridge Energy Partners, LLC, Gardner offered advisory services and investment strategies, particularly in emerging markets. With a background that includes senior leadership roles at AES, IHS CERA, Strategic Decisions Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Chevron, Gardner has a strong foundation in both engineering and business strategy, holding an MS in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
