Kai-Uwe Kühn is a highly experienced economist currently serving as Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group since September 2023. Kühn has held the position of Fellow at the Georgetown Center for Economic Research at Georgetown University since June 2017 and is a Professor of Economics at the University of East Anglia and Deputy Director at the Center for Competition Policy since January 2016. Additionally, Kühn has been a Permanent Visiting Professor at the Düsseldorf Institute of Competition Economics (DICE) since October 2013 and has acted as an Academic Advisor for The Brattle Group from January 2019 to December 2024. Previously, Kühn served as a Senior Consultant at Charles River Associates from November 2013 to November 2018 and as an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan until December 2015. Notably, Kühn held the role of Chief Economist at DG Comp, European Commission, from May 2011 to August 2013. Educational qualifications include a D.Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
