Carsten Bo Petersen

Carsten Bo Petersen is an experienced Old School Engineer currently employed at BERKES since January 2022, with an extensive career in combustion and fuel handling systems management at Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor (BWSC) since February 2017 and Burmeister & Wain Energy A/S (BWE A/S) since April 1990. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, Carsten has a strong focus on technical specifications and layouts for various combustion systems, including coal and biomass technologies. Carsten has authored multiple articles and presentations recognized in the industry, achieving accolades such as the Best Paper Award at Power-Gen Europe in 2011 for contributions to multi-fuel biomass unit conversions.
