Laila Santana

Laila Santana currently serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Claims Officer at Berkley Alliance Managers, a position held since December 2013. Prior to this role, Laila was the Director of Professional Construction Claims at Catlin Insurance from July 2009 to November 2013. Laila's extensive experience in the insurance industry includes serving as Executive Claims Counsel & Regional Claims Manager at XL Group from February 2000 to July 2009 and as an Attorney at Booth, Mitchel & Strange from 1991 to 2000. Laila holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Pepperdine Law, completed between 1988 and 1991, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Pepperdine University, earned from 1983 to 1987.
