Lauren A. Harris

Lauren A. Harris, ACAS, serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary at Berkley Alliance Managers since January 2017, focusing on ratemaking, reserving, and reinsurance for Professional Liability sectors. Harris's previous experience includes a role as Senior Actuarial Analyst at Farm Family, where duties included loss reserving and pricing across various lines of insurance. Earlier positions included Actuarial Analyst at The Hartford and an internship at the New York State Insurance Department, where evaluations of reserve adequacy were performed. Lauren's foundational experience began as a Computer Science REU Student Researcher at Texas A&M University, conducting research on wireless sensor networks. Harris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, and Computer Science from Siena College, completed in 2010.
