Debbie Swift

Debbie Swift is a seasoned insurance executive with extensive experience in claims management. Currently serving as Vice President and Claim Technical & Operational Lead at Berkley Environmental since June 2023, Debbie previously spent nearly 15 years at Chubb in various leadership roles, including Vice President, Personal Lines Casualty Claims Leader, and Vice President - Claim Leader for the Mid-Atlantic Region. In these positions, Debbie managed a team of 30 employees handling around 3,000 casualty claims, overseeing significant aggregate loss and expense reserves exceeding $250 million and $35 million. Early career experiences at Chubb included roles such as Regional Claim Technician, AVP, and Senior Casualty Examiner, managing complex claims across several jurisdictions. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from St. John's University, earned in 1991.
