James Schmidt

James Schmidt has extensive experience in the environmental underwriting sector, currently serving as Regional Vice President at Berkley Environmental since April 2014. Prior roles at Berkley include AVP - Regional Manager and Senior Environmental Underwriter. Previously, James worked at Acadia Insurance from May 2012 to April 2014, where responsibilities included selecting and pricing commercial risks as an Underwriter and participating in the Underwriter Trainee Program. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Finance and Entrepreneurship, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Babson College. Additionally, James studied Business and Entrepreneurship at Clarkson University and completed education at Kimball Union Academy.
