Dennis Unver

Dennis Unver has had an extensive career in the insurance industry, spanning over three decades. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President - Corporate Actuary at W. R. Berkley Corporation, starting in July 2021. Prior to this role, they served as VP & Actuary at IAT Insurance Group for five years, from February 2016 to July 2021. Before that, they were Vice President & Actuary at Travelers for over four years, from October 2011 to February 2016. Dennis also worked at XL Group in various roles, including Chief Pricing Actuary Professional Lines from August 2008 to October 2010. Dennis was Senior Vice President, Insurance Segment Financial Actuary from 2005 to 2008, Vice President, Reinsurance Segment Financial Actuary from 2003 to 2005, and Vice President & Actuary from 2001 to 2003. Dennis Unver began their career as an Associate Actuary at Nationwide Insurance in 1994 and worked there until 2001. Prior to that, they were an Actuary at Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation from 1991 to 1994.

Dennis Unver attended The Ohio State University from 1984 to 1989, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics.
