Sean McPhillips

Sean McPhillips has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sean is currently working as a Business Development Underwriter at Berkley Aspire (a Berkley Company) since January 2023. Prior to this, Sean worked at Everest Insurance® where they held two roles. Sean started as an Associate Underwriter in December 2019 and later transitioned to the role of Underwriter - E&S Excess in July 2021. Before joining Everest Insurance®, Sean gained experience as a Broker Assistant at RT Specialty from September 2018 to December 2019. Sean also worked as a Promotions Assistant at Townsquare Media from March 2018 to July 2018. In addition to their work in the insurance and media industries, Sean has also contributed to the SUNY Geneseo community. Sean worked as a Technical Assistant in the Theatre & Dance Department from August 2014 to May 2018, while also serving as a Videographer in the Marketing & Communications Department from August 2017 to March 2018. During the summer of 2015, they served as a Peer Advisor, Teacher’s Assistant, and INTD 170 Tutor in the Access Opportunity Programs Department. Sean's work experience also includes a role as an Assistant Stage Manager at Finger Lakes Opera Company in July 2016.

Sean McPhillips attended SUNY Geneseo from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies. In 2016, they also briefly studied at Florence University of the Arts, focusing on Mass Communication/Media Studies. Additionally, during that same year, Sean attended Saint Anselm College, where they pursued studies in Archeology.
