Moustapha BANDE, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Data Architecture at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Moustapha held the position of Principal Data Fabric Architect at Investissement Québec from October 2021 to June 2022. Moustapha's extensive experience includes various roles at Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services, where responsibilities ranged from Software and Data Architect to Senior Data Engineer and Senior IT System Analyst, focusing on designing and implementing data architectures, leading ETL development teams, and ensuring software quality assurance. Moustapha holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Software Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, as well as degrees in Computer Software Engineering from Université de Picardie Jules Verne and Software Engineering from Université de Ouagadougou, complemented by an Oracle Certificate Professional and SQL Expert designation in Database Administration.
