Mark Hardeman has extensive work experience in the field of education. Mark started their career as a classroom teacher at East Oxford Public School in 1999. Mark then moved on to Annandale Public School as a Junior High School Math/Social Studies Teacher in 2001. In 2002, they joined Ideal Education School as a Developmental Education Teacher. Mark then worked at American Creativity Academy as a Classroom Teacher from 2003 to 2006.

In 2006, they joined the American Community School of Abu Dhabi as a Grade 7 Teacher and later became the Middle School Principal from 2007 to 2012. Mark then took on roles at the International School of Beijing, serving as the Middle School Principal from 2012 to 2015 and as the Deputy Head of School from 2015 to 2017.

From 2017 to 2023, Mark served as the Director of the International School of Tanganyika. Currently, they hold the position of Director at BBIS Berlin Brandenburg International School GmbH starting in 2023.

Mark Hardeman has a solid education history consisting of multiple degrees and areas of study. Mark started their academic journey in 1994 at the University of Windsor, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Mark successfully completed this program in 1998. Following this, from 1998 to 1999, Mark attended the University of Windsor again, this time for a Bachelor of Education degree with a focus on Primary/Junior Studies.

After gaining valuable experience in the field, Mark went on to pursue a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Wollongong. Although the exact start year is not provided, this program concluded in 2000.

Mark continued their educational endeavors by enrolling in a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) program at Lehigh University in 2010. Specializing in Educational Leadership, they spent five years actively studying and developing expertise within this field, officially completing the program in 2015.
