Tanya Diaz Suarez

Tanya Diaz Suarez is an experienced educator and team manager with a strong background in special education and diversity-sensitive inclusion. Currently serving as Team Manager for Berlin Thunder since March 2021, Tanya has also held significant roles at Berlin Cosmopolitan School as Diversity Sensitive Inclusion Coordinator and Kindergarten Teacher from April 2018 to September 2023. Prior experience includes teaching kindergarten and elementary levels at The American International School in Cyprus from August 2016 to April 2018, and serving as a Special Education Teacher at Greenville County Schools from December 2007 to June 2016. Tanya has also worked as a Sports Instructor for HappyFeet-Legends International, Inc. and as an English teacher for PLANET IDIOMAS. Education includes a Bachelor in Special Education from Clemson University and a Master's Degree in TESOL from Furman University.
