Katherine Downs is a dedicated medical assistant at Bernardo Dermatology Medical Group, Inc., facilitating various dermatology procedures since June 2024. As the Director of Events and Marketing for the Brain Exercise Initiative, Katherine creates content to educate about Alzheimer's disease and dementia while hosting community-building events. In previous roles at UCLA, Katherine served as Chapter President and Finance Director, demonstrating strong organizational and fundraising skills. Katherine is also engaged in research at UC San Diego Health and has volunteered with Cedars-Sinai, enhancing patient care. A Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Bioinformatics from UCLA complements Katherine's extensive experience in both clinical and community-centered initiatives.
