Catherine Thornton

Catherine Thornton, PHR, currently serves as the Vice President of Talent Management at Bernhard since June 2024. Prior to this role, Catherine held significant positions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, first as Director of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Development and then as Manager of Talent Acquisition from February 2018 to June 2024. Catherine also worked as Director of Talent Acquisition at H&E Equipment Services, Inc. from June 2014 to January 2018, and as Senior Human Resources Generalist at CB&I from November 2011 to June 2014. Earlier experience includes roles at Westlake Chemical as Human Resources Representative and at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company as Recruiting Supervisor. Catherine began a career in human resources with Cintas as a Management Trainee. Catherine obtained a B.A. in Mass Communications/Public Relations from Louisiana State University between 2000 and 2004.
