Derrick Pearson

Derrick Pearson is a Sr. Controls Specialist with Bernhard engineer, having previously worked as a Senior Automation Engineer for Amentum, AECOM, and URS Corporation. Before that, Derrick was the owner of Practical Automation Solutions Inc. With experience in both design and startup of automated equipment and integration/upgrading of existing systems in manufacturing plants, Derrick has a strong background in automation controls. Prior to entering the automation field, Derrick worked as a Maintenance Electrician at Triangle PWC, specializing in wire manufacturing. Derrick has pursued additional education in various areas related to automation, including certifications in OPC and factory automation from Tridium University, Rockwell Automation, Invensys Learning Center, OPC Training Institute, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
