James Bowman

James Bowman, MBA has extensive work experience in information technology roles. James currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Bernhard, a role they have been in since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Information Technology at Bernhard from June 2019 to September 2023.

Before joining Bernhard, James held senior positions at McDermott International Inc., where they were the Senior Director of Information Technology from May 2018 to June 2019. James also worked at CB&I as a Senior Director from March 2016 to May 2018, and as an IT Director from April 2014 to March 2016.

Previously, James served as the Chief Information Officer at the Louisiana Department of Education from January 2013 to March 2014. James also worked at The Shaw Group, first as the Director of Information Technology from September 2009 to January 2013, and previously as the Senior Business Systems Manager from August 2002 to September 2009.

James began their career as a Business Analyst at Turner Industries in 2001 and later worked as a Financial Analyst at IBM from 1999 to 2001.

James Bowman, MBA, obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in the years 1989 to 1994. James pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration from the same institution during the years 1997 to 1999.
