Azieb-Hannah Pool

Azieb Pool is an accomplished artistic director and journalist with extensive experience in the arts and media sectors. Since February 2019, Azieb Pool has served as the Artistic Director and CEO of the Bernie Grant Arts Centre. Prior to this role, Azieb Pool worked as a Senior Programmer at the Southbank Centre from January 2013 to February 2019, and as a journalist for Guardian News and Media from 1996 to 2010. In addition to these positions, Azieb Pool has been a freelance journalist, author, and commentator since 2010, contributing features and interviews to the Guardian for over a decade.
