Ben Watson

Ben Watson is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in product development and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Product Development at BerniePortal since March 2020, Ben has held various roles including Development Team Manager and Senior Developer. Prior to this, Ben worked as an Intermediate Full Stack Engineer at ezyVet and as a Web Developer at Kitomba Salon & Spa Software, where responsibilities included Scrum Master duties, team leadership, and user-focused development. Ben's early experience includes serving as a Rifleman with the New Zealand Defence Force, specializing in physical tasks and leadership, and working as a Project Administrator at Opus International Consultants Limited, focusing on administrative and data management tasks. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington, completed in 2017.
